This area is a place known as the mound area was similar to the faces of people from aerial photographs taken by "VIKING" spacecraft in the year 1976, pictures from VIKING spacecraft the resolution low. When compared with high-resolution images taken by "Global surveyer" spacecraft at The same place. This shows clearly that the "human face" actually is just a mound that is the corrosion, weather of Mars.
      However, there are groups of people crazy about Mars, some people still do not give up. And continue to believe that this face is made by Martians absolutely. And said that the image of "Global surveyer" spacecraft been processed before. As opposed to image of VIKING are not processed that is a more reliable, someone say NASA and other government organizations are trying to cover up the fact some are
      Face on mars are fake story but "Global surveyer" spacecraft has another important mission, is shooting VIKING 2 and "Pathfinder" spacecraft that still park on Mars And may include shooting VIKING spacecraft.

And the other one of the project Viking has discovered a cell that resembles that plant (Plant-like-Cells), by put the soil in the experiment container. Then the light for 5 days so and hopefully be found growth of cells with similar plant. And then heating the soil to get the gas get out of the cell.
